When you’ve been doing something as long as we have been photographing hotels, clients tend to become friends. We were so excited when we got a call from Geoff Cipkala to let us know that their company had taken on a new venture. We have worked with Geoff for more than 10 years and he knows what to expect when he hires us.

What Made This Hotel Photo Shoot Unique

I have driven by the Mariner’s Suites hotel hundreds of times but never knew it was aWe were filled with The Mariner’s Suites is located in Kingsland, GA which is the town next to one of my family’s favorite places on earth. Cumberland Island was where I spent most of my vacations since I was a young girl and the road in front of Mariner’s Suites is one that brings back warm memories for me. We typically shoot major brand hotels that are midscale limited service properties but the place where we can add the MOST value is with independent hotels and motels.

The property caters to families who are moving into the area after being transferred to the King’s Bay Naval base. One of the unique things about this shoot is that they own the storage units that are next to the property. I am an Air Force brat who knows that sometimes it takes a while to get settled after a move so the additional convenience of having storage units next to the temporary living is a brilliant idea.
