Opening a new hotel is stressful enough without the current staffing challenges that the hotel industry is facing. A seasoned team can handle that challenge and that’s just what we got at the AC Hotel Chesterfield. The General Manager and the Director of Sales had worked together at another property and their professionalism and experience came in handy.

The hotel is gorgeous but very busy! We happened to be photographing after an outdoor concert. It appeared that the concert goers brought all the mud from the field to the white marble floors. This made for a mad dash in the morning to try to get the floors cleaned up before breakfast!

Ascent Hospitality has outdone themselves with total renovation of The Threefoot Hotel, Meridian, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. While we were photographing the hotel, many Meridian locals told us stories of their memories of the building. The iconic building has a special place in the hearts of Meridian residents and now in our hearts as well.

Each of the rooms was meticulously designed with guest comfort and style in mind. We had our hands full with so many unique room types. This is typical of a large historic renovation when a building is repurposed into a hotel. Ascent did a great job as always with maintaining the uniqueness of the original building while bringing it up to their high standards.

Our favorite part of the shoot was the Rooftop Bar and the amazing views. It was closed when we shot it which makes it easier to get good sunset photos but we will look forward to coming back to enjoy a cocktail at sunset next time we are in town.

Thanks to the whole team at the hotel who worked so hard to make this yet another successful hotel photo shoot.
