High Quality Hotel Photography …without the High Price!
Hotel photography doesn’t have to be expensive or difficult when you hire the right photographer. We have personally photographed more than 900 hotels for more than 50 national brands with 100% approval. We know what we are doing but more importantly, we love what we do. In fact, the compliment we receive most often and are most proud of is that we are so easy to work with.
Ready to update your hotel photography?
We offer fair and straightforward pricing so it’s easy for us to give you a quote. For most projects, we can get a quote to you within hours. Let’s Do This!!
Hotel photography is different than other types of photography.
For the midscale brands that we specialize in, brand photography guidelines are more important than the artistry of the photographs.
One brand requires that the phone be on the bedside table with a pen and a pad set in a certain way. If there is no phone and pen and pad by the bed, that brand will reject the photos for not meeting brand standards.
Another brand requires that the bedside table be completely clear…no phone, no clock, no pen and pad.
Two equally beautiful photographs could be rejected by the brand if the photographer doesn’t know the nuances of each brand.
Luckily, we understand these requirements. We will work with you in advance of the photo shoot to make sure that you are reviewing the most current brand photography guidelines. The guidelines are confusing and in some cases downright contradictory. For example one brand says that the photos of the hotel pool MUST be taken at dusk or dawn…absolutely not during the daytime. Yet that same brand’s guidelines say in another place that the pool shots should be taken at noon when the sun is directly overhead. If your photographer doesn’t know which one is the correct guideline then your photos can be rejected.
We understand that you are running a busy hotel and that your guests come first. That’s where our experience comes in. By working with you before the photo shoot to make sure the hotel is prepared based on your brand standards, we can minimize the disruption to your guests and staff on the day of the photo shoot. We will arrive the day before the photo shoot to do a walk through and make sure that everything is ready for us to capture the best images.
Our Unique Team Approach to Hotel Photography
We are a husband and wife hotel photography team who each bring a unique set of skills and experience. When our clients hire us, they get US! Unlike other national hotel photography companies who subcontract to local real estate photographers, we do all of our hotel photography work ourselves. This means that the samples you see on our website are accurate representations of the work we will provide for our clients. We share samples of every commercial shoot we do so that prospective hotels owners understand the quality that they will receive.
Both of us worked in hotels when we were getting our degrees. We understand the unique challenges of taking pictures in a busy hotel…we can assure you that your guests come first. We wear uniforms without our logo on the shirts but guests usually assume we are employed by the hotel. We understand that we are representing your hotel and our company in the eyes of your guests. It’s not unusual for us to grab an extra towel for a guest, find directions, help with breakfast items. Because at the end of the day, we consider ourselves a part of your team and want to represent your company and ours in a professional manner.
When you hire us, you don’t just get a hotel photographer – you get a TEAM!
Paige works with your onsite staff before and during the shoot to prepare each area to make sure that it’s photo ready. Once each area is prepared, Greg captures the photographs. We move quickly so that we can do our job with the minimum disruption to your guests and staff.
Because we control the process from start to finish, we are able to control the quality and have fun along the way.
Hotel User Generated Content
User Generated Content.
Today’s consumers are tired of misleading ads that over promise and under deliver. And they are happy to share disappointed “reviews” on social media and your brand’s website.
Organic marketing started with authentic stories of real experiences. Now most “influencer” marketing is about building the influencer’s brand – not yours.
