We had a great trip to Houston to provide professional hotel photography for the Fairfield Inn & Suites – Houston NW Brookhollow. Although we have photographed more than 800 hotels for more than 40 different brands, Fairfield Inn and Suites remains one of our favorite brands to photograph. The new hotel was lovely and the team was wonderful to work with.
What Made This Hotel Photo Shoot Unique
We arrived at the hotel and walked in to introduce ourselves. The front desk person greeted us with blank stares until we realized that we were at the wrong Fairfield Inn and Suites! A quick search got us rerouted to the right place where the team was definitely ready and expecting us.
The hotel chose to add our aerial photography which was a smart addition. The hotel is located in a quiet area but is very close to downtown and is easy to get to. There are restaurants and medical facilities nearby and the aerial photos allowed us to show off the beautiful architecture and location.
Proper preparation is the key to meeting all of the Marriott brand standards. The hotel is newly built. As a result, there were a few items that are still in progress. We got creative and made necessary adjustments to get what we needed. One of my favorite parts of the hotel was the outdoor pool with the water fall features.
Mixing Business With Pleasure
The hotel is located near the Houston Galleria mall. When I was in elementary school, we lived in San Antonio and our cousins lived in Houston. We spent a great deal of time in Houston and one of the highlights was going to the Galleria mall. Of course, things have changed a whole lot since I was a young girl but it was fun to visit a familiar place.
No trip to Texas is complete without some good Tex-Mex and there is no better Tex-Mex than Pappasito’s. I was a flight attendant for Continental Airlines in the 1990’s and ate more than my share of Pappasito’s. It is great that some things remain consistent.
