We drive to all of our shoots so that we can be available to add on side trips for fun or pick up an partial shoots that don’t justify a separate trip. We were photographing another hotel for Drury and had this one on the radar for when we got to the area.
What Made This Hotel Photo Shoot Unique
The most important shot of any hotel photo shoot is the exterior front shot. Most hotel exteriors are easy to shoot because they are built with curb appeal in mind. Where we run into challenges is with properties like this one. The front of the hotel is lovely but it’s wide and the parking lot is narrow. We looked at every possible angle for the front shots and realized that the only option to capture the front of the hotel was to take our drone up.
