This shoot started out great but proved that Murphy’s law is the norm for the hotel business. While the hotel did a fantastic job getting ready for the shoot with a limited staff, things fell apart on the day of the shoot when the General Manager had to call in sick due to a family emergency. That’s when we got to show why hotels hire us!
After photographing more than 850 hotels, many of which are IHG brands, we know our stuff and do not rely on the onsite management to be there on the day of the shoot. It required some finagling to make things work out but we got the job done and had time afterwards for a fun bike ride in College Station.
