We started our relationship and our business in North Georgia and it remains one of our favorite places on earth. We visit the area frequently and were excited to see that there was a brand new Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Dawsonville, GA. I made a mental note to stop by and introduce myself. Before I did though, I got a call from the owner of the hotel asking when we could come photograph.
What Made this Hotel Photo Shoot Unique
It’s always a great adventure to photograph hotels that have newly hired staff and that was the case at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites – Dawsonville, GA. That’s why experience matters so much. The General Manager had been on the job for 5 days. This was his first IHG property although he had been in the hotel business for many years. The front desk manager had been in the hotel business for 30 years including as a GM for Holiday Inn Express for 30 years. So we combined all of our experience and made things work!
Mixing Business with Pleasure
This area was home for us for many years but it’s also our home away from home. We enjoyed our shoot but even more we enjoyed being able to visit with friends and family in the area.
